Future Founder SA Crowns South Africa’s Rising Young Innovators
How 12 young innovators, equity-free funding, and a powerful ecosystem are reshaping youth entrepreneurship in South Africa.
South Africa’s next generation of entrepreneurs took centre stage at the Future Founder SA Showcase 2025. A celebration of 12 remarkable young entrepreneurs who have spent the past months developing, refining, and boldly pursuing their ideas. This digital first initiative, powered by Yoma, in partnership with SAP, UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited, and FNB, is reshaping how youth entrepreneurship is nurtured and funded in the country.
Designed as a launchpad for aspiring youth entrepreneurs and innovators, by offering experiential learning, training, and catalytic start-up capital, this initiative turns bold ideas into thriving businesses. Through a collaborative, ecosystem driven pathway, delivered in partnership with Goodwall, ALX Ventures, and RLabs, Future Founder SA ensures that young people, regardless of where they are in their journey, have a genuine opportunity to turn their ideas into viable ventures.
This inaugural cohort reflects the imagination, resilience, and determination of South African youth who see challenges not as barriers, but as invitations to create meaningful change.
